Topeak Road Morph - Are you able to get more than 100 PSI?
I got a flat today and used my Topeak Road Morph for the first time. I put on a new tube with a threaded presta valve. As I pumped the tire, air started to escape from the seal when the pressure hit 100 PSI on the gauge. I re-attached the head a few times but the same thing kept happening. When I got home, I checked the PSI with my floor pump and it registered 110 PSI -- better than 100 but not the 160 PSI that Topeak claims.
Is it just me or does anyone else have a similar issue with this pump? Any tips/tricks for preventing the air from escaping? I'm a clyde and need about 125 PSI to avoid pinch flats.
Look forward to your input!

I've got up to 120 with mine which is all I needed. I'd recommend using the "foot tab" provided with the pump. You basically have to stand over it and make sure you shove the pump all the way down in the chamber on the down stroke once you hit about 100psi. You will notice that the guage only really moves up in pressure on that last 1 inch or so when you get that much pressure in the tire. I don't have the pump on me now, but does the guage even go that high(160psi)? I don't recall.

I run one bike at 100 and one at 120. No problem with either, and, the gauge seems to be accurate at both pressures as well. Every time I use it I am amazed at how well it works. I wish I was getting commisions from Topeak as I have prompted at least five sales of this pump by fellow riders. If you are having trouble getting 100psi, call Topeak and see what they say. I needed additional mounting brackets and they were great to talk to.

I've never had a problem getting to the 120-130psi that I run on my roadie. It reads about 10psi low for me. It is hard going for the last 10-20psi, but it'll get there (which can't be said for most mini-pumps!).
Topeak customer service is awesome - I emailed to ask where to buy an additional mounting bracket, and they sent one out for free the next day.

120 no problem, and I'll echo that their customer service is outstanding. Drop them an e-mail from their web site.

Thanks guys. Maybe the rubber gaskets in my pump head need replacement. I'll contact Topeak. BTW - On the Topeak website, it says up to 160 PSI which would be incredible!
