Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rims and Tires...

Hi..., I change my mtb tires for slick ones like 5 months ago, the size is 26x1.95.
Now I was thinking about changing my tires for 26x1.50 slicks, because I have to order them from the States or Brazil to my country, I dont know if they will fit in my actual rims, would they? Will I improve the speed on them, or its more or less the same as the 26x1.95?? I have a Raleigh M40, 2004

thanks in advanced

1.5's should be just fine. Your best bet is to fine the rim manufacturer's website and inquire of them what is the minimum tire width you can use....
