Seatpost with lots of setback for Brooks saddle?
Any recommendations? I currently have a 27.2mm Ritchey Comp seatpost which I believe has 20 mm setback but my sit bones are often on the back edge of the B-17 saddle. So, I'm looking for something with more than 20 mm of setback. Wallingford bike is out-of-stock on the ones they sell in 27.2mm. I know the Titec Hell-Bent has 50mm of setback but I think it will stick out too much. The only other one I found is the FSA SL-220 which has about 35mm. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I believe the Easton and FSA Seatpost have little more than that. Keep in mind though, that their advertised setback is 25mm I believe. But if you look at how the rail clamp is positioned you can actually get the saddle further back than with the Campy post. The thing to look for is where the front of the rail clamp is in relation to the seatpost. On the Campy post, the front of the clamp comes to the middle of the post and on the Easton, the front of the clamp comes to the back of the post. Providing more setback.
I was also going to suggest a Selcof Bi-Position seatpost (32mm setback) but I remembered I couldn't get mine to work a Brooks saddle. The tilt adjustment bolt wouldn't go down far enough to get a Brooks saddle level. With any other saddle it's a great seatpost.

The Kalloy Guizzo Carbon has 30mm., works well, and is not expensive. That's what I'm using with my Professional.

Although I'd love to get the Thompson it just doesn't seem to have enough setback. The Kalloy looks good but I'm hesitant about carbon and couldn't find any other Kalloy's with decent setback. Funny thing, the Easton EA70 looks to me like it has the most setback but the spec says it's only 25mm. And the FSA SL220 spec says 35mm. Unless I can find something else, I'll probably go with the Easton or FSA.

I cut it down from its original 350 mm. to 200 mm., and it now weighs 200 gm.

Hmmm...maybe I should take a second look at it. Are you happy with the clamp? I'm a clyde also (210#) and with my current seatpost, if I don't torque the heck out of the bolts, it slowly tilts back during a ride. Also, can you fine tune the tilt without disturbing the fore/aft position? It seems that to get the Brooks to be comfortable, I have to make very slight adjustments to get the angle just right.

Yeah, I like it OK. It has grooves in the clamp for adjustments, so you can't do very fine angles, but it's enough to get my saddle where I need it.

Salsa has a post with 23mm of setback, I believe, but the clamp is kinda dopey looking.

Try just plain "DOPE!"
Salsa's rock.
They come in 410mm length for those of us with folding bikes that need 400+mm.
Black or silver.
If you know of any other 400+mm seatposts with independently adjustable tilt/slide heads, I'd like to hear it!

I saw a pic of Phil Liggett on a folding during the Tour or Giro. With all of the traveling that he must do, it would make sense to have one.
