Both bikes are excellent. Both bikes are expensive. There are several Prince owners, and a few Dogma owners on this board. I don't know of any regulars though that own either...

I am on my second prince. My first was a Prime Alliance team frame I got off e bay. My new one is Orange with Orange tinted carbon. It is seriously the dopest looking bike I have seen in a long time. It's loaded with Cinelli ram bars, Daura Ace 9spd, Storck Power arms, Zero Grav brakes, Nokon Cables, custon wheels w/ ti spokes. But I can't post pics yet cuz we are having trouble with our e mail and I can't shrink the pics. ButI will soon. P.s. it's 15.3 lbs or so. I hit 80kmh last week.
Pinarellos F'N rule, and my second bike is a steel D.A. Eddy Merckx.

These are a few of my Prince, I also have a Galileo, which is below.
I just bought the Dogma Frame, I havent picked it up yet. I'm really pumped about it, I've wanted one since they came out. I laboured long and hard over whether to get a Prince SL, or a Dogma. I really didnt make a decision, I just kinda pointed in the dark...

Dang. I was about to say that I'm a friction shift-loving, lugged steel riding retro-grouch, making me a multi-dogmatic forum member. There's seriously such a thing as a bicycle called "dogma"?

Yeah I absolutely love the Fassa Colors, "Lord BLue" as Pinarello calls it here in the USA, but Gita (the US importer) told me it would be many months before I could get it. So I got a mirror black instead. And of course, the MOntello is one of the finest looking machines ever to turn a wheel.
I really thought alot about it when I got ready to buy this thing. I looked at the Opera Leaonardo, but I decided I'm not really a carbon guy, I thought about a few others, but ultimately, none of them would be a Pinarello but a Pinarello, and all I wanted was a newer version of my bike. (the frame for which is for sale BTW). So I narrowed it down to the Prinse SL and the Dogma, and I just showed some pics to my wife and kids and they picked the Dogma. Really scientific huh...
So I should be picking her up in a few weeks, and then a few days to put her together and I'll give you my thoughts.

Man I love that you have a prodigy. When I was trying to decide ont he Dogma, I really thought hard about an R2.5. I've always like the prodigy line though
I almost bought a Super Prodigy two years ago.
If I could find a nice one I'd build it up with Centaur and ride the hell out of it.

Let us know what you think of the magnesium frame material. It's supposed to have great ride qualities. Two more weeks, eh?

Mike,
That was down in Chappel Hill. We went way out past Washington on The Brazos and man was it hot. If youve ridden down there you know that there are no stores around to resupply and we didnt have sense enough to cache some water, so we kept having to swing back through the park and use their water fountain.
Where in NW Austin are you? I'm out there as well, the Spicewood Springs area.

Mike I just read your blog, you live somwhere right by me. I havent ridden with the Bucks guys, there are some fit dudes in there and I am a ways from that right now so Im always worried about being the slow guy on a Pinarello you know? Usually that ride goes right past my house, I usually see Ty I think it is, the guy with the Prince SL. He kinda stands out.
The ride I think you were talking about above is out on 620, right near Lakeway, I forget the name of the road but it loops down to a Park at the end. I usually leave and go down Anderson Mill, then 620 to the park road, then back out and down to 71 then down Bee Caves and back. Sometimes I just go straight on 360 back to the house that way. Its like a 55 mile loop if I go back down 360, obviously more if I double back.
I'm looking forward to the Dogma sunnin, I placed a deposit on it, and I will probably pick it up in a few weeks. I was actually going to see if my LBS (Bucks) will price match before I drop the last of the dollars on it.
