took bike and new seat post were i bought post, too see if they could fix why it was slipping though it was same size as old post that was snug and this new one loose. and they had to crank the bolts down all the way far as they would go to keep it from slipping. i have decided to buy a ritchey post , dont know what brand the other was it was pretty inexpensive. it was the same size as my old one yet was way loose. i am hoping a more expensive brand name post may be a better fit. any pointers. i know my orig post maybe campy needs replaced yet is a way snug fit. any pointers on a better post maybe fitting better.

I took a piece of emery cloth, rolled it into the seat tube, then gently twisted it to rough up the inside of the seat tube. But, if you do this, make sure you rough it horizontally, not in and out vertically. The resulting rough surface grabs the carbon better, and won't hurt the bike at all. Just don't sand too much, you don't want to reem out the seat tube to the point where it's too big.
