Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nope, and I won't repeat myself for fear... I live in LA

I had hopes that he faked his own death so he could get away from Suge, but art imitated life (or vice versa).

Buddy of mine had a thug wife, she was beyond humanistic. One time, he didn't use a coaster, left a ring o' cola sweat on the coffee table...She took him out back, made him dig his own grave, slapped him upside the head with the shovel, and buried him up to his neck.

The rest of this sordid tale took a right turn, as it was fearful of my prosantic skills.

Wow, I just got home from riding from work and I'm going up this hill and theres this dude on a mountain bike and I'm like "I'm gonna blow this sucka away" and I pass him and gave him this look that was like "I'm da man, you better respect" and then I drop him like nothing else! It made me feel so good to belittle him and I had my CSC jersey on too so I was thinking, man I'm so like Basso dancing up this climb!
If only I had a guy with discovery kit on to chase too I could have set my power to 450w.
Isn't it funny that the original poster r600 dura ace has really shut up!
This really is one of the funniest threads for a while.

R3000 CAAD 7 Cannondale, thats a real 'dale, not this r600 crap

Thanks for a great thread. Does anyone else get the impression that this guy is some kind of hybrid of Sincitycycler and my58vw? Maybe the lowest form of cycling life, but unbelievably entertaining. Impressive that he's able to ride a bike without a brain.

I need some humiliation so I'm going to buy that Euskadie Euskatel kit to match my Orbea and then cruise the park hoping to get dropped by some fat guy on a Trek 7100(with Dura Ace).

It happens very often when I pass guys on cool sport bikes wearing jerseys. And it isn't because I want a competition or just to show off. It's becuase I'm late, that's why I'm in hurry. But when I do this, I feel pretty bad. They probably think "Hey look, another ****** thinks he's cool. I'd like to see you after a 90 km ride, dumbass!" .... yep, probably most of them think so. But there are certain ways to pass the guy without beign a moron, come closer to him and you'll see that he'll move to the right letting you pass. It's also good to say "good morning, have a good day". That's the way. And it's also a way to make friends.

Not fair to combine fitty-eight with Sincity...would create an unmanageable cycling android....fitty-eight deserves better. Believe the OP is a Sincity derivative however on the foodchain...run into them all the time on the bike trails I ride...mostly fat guys in spandex that start to weeze over 21 mph. Sadly...for the record the OP didn't get his post just right...it was Lance's sister dressed in drag that the OP defeated and of course she didn't know they were racing or she would have dropped him too. Surprised you guys don't have a power knob on your bikes...mine is set to warp factor 4 most of the time unless someone like the OP wants to rumble...arf. Some times the power knob however goes on the fritz and Scotty struggles to get it fixed just in the nick of time or by the end of an episode. Bones always has to get a few words in edge wise and it normally goes something like...Dammit Jim...I'm only a country proctologist, not sydney the god of bicycle mechanics.
