Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I want to take this moment to a) thank the mods for not locking this one up, it's just too damn funny, and 2) thank r600 for filling the hole filled by previous BF celebs. That's right, I'm talking about fujiracer and our own beloved kea4zeann or whatever it was. Thank you r600, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Don't tell me the fun is over.

By the way, what would have happened if he responded and whooped your A$$ dude? Will he have earned the kit then? If earning a kit is only through winning races why do they sell them to us "the slow ones"?

R600,
Don't take out your deficiency frustrations out on random people.

Take me for example,
I have a deficiency in body fat, lactic acid build-up & ITT losses
You don't see me getting angry at other riders because they have more than I do.

IT seems when one hangs about Commuting/Touring bike theads- bike egos are less extreme..
I ride with the fast Italian cyclist..Can't stand it when women cyclists pass him by..Some appreciate a woman racer ahead...Would be lots of fast women to pass.. To many a rider, a woman ahead in Spandex would slow them down. to each his own.

Well here in Texas the cat 5 and cat 4 race speed average have been nearly identicle. The distance for a cat 4 road race is usally 10mi further allthough I've been in couple of RR's where the distance's have been the same. In most cases the fast cat 5 guys will quickly become the fast cat 4 guys, when they reach the 3's it starts to get harder.

The bottom line is that guys like R600 and Sincity are complete tools who just add creadence to the 'roadies are arrogant snob's' stereotype. I ride for a local shop and I have a PowerTapPro setup on my very expensive carbon fiber bike. If ride up to you and your wearing a full Disco kit I could care less. My only jersey hang up is national championship jersey's, they are earned not bought. Also if you are overweight and pushing a tripple up a short hill while wearing a polka dot jersey it might be time to re-think that choice!

Wow. This took a long time to read. R600 you must be REALLY stupid. And I mean extremely stupid. Your opinions are ridiculous, and almost everything else you say makes no sense. Change your name on this forum and start again, for your own sake.

See, there's always more than one way to look at something. If I was a fat guy pushing a triple up a short hill, I would buy the polka dot jersey as an ironic twist on inspiration.

Ha! Well I had never really thought of it that way, now I'll have to re-think my view on the polka dot jersey wearer's!

Cool! R600DuraAce, your thread has pilgrims! Maybe people will start following you around town now not satisfied with the internet experience!
