Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New book

Has anyone read "Lance Armstrong's War"? If you have not and you know how to read, give it a try....its well worth it. Gives you great look inside the '04 TDF and past TDF's...

I read it over vacation last month - fascinating read. The author basically follows Lance for the 6 months leading up to the '04 TdF. Inside stories on Lance, Tyler, Jan + other key members of Postal and the peloton. Lots of good stuff about the life and the doctors and and and and.....

Just finished it last week. It's a must read for any cyclist, Lance fan or not.

Starting 23 Days in July now and I am not impressed yet....hope it gets better.
