Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Have you tried removing and re-installing the batteries?

the main unit is sort of like a watch, and a dealer has to replace the battery. owners can replace the batteries in the heart rate chest strap or the wheel sensor by unscrewing a batter cap, but not the main unit/receiver. however, the online manual says replacing the battery does not delete the stored info.

Yeah, the manual is a pretty bad translation, so it can be a bit confusing.

The fact that it retains its memory with the battery out is actually really nice, since you don't lose all of your totals when you do replace the battery.

Resetting the totals is in the same area as initial setup of the unit (wheel circumference, alarms, etc.) To do it, press and hold the upper-right button until the upper eradout starts flashing. Then repeatedly press the same button unitl you get to the "Reset" screen, indicated by a little flashing "r" in the upper readout (it actually looks a little more like an upside-down "L"). Now press the upper-left and the lower-left buttons simultaneously. You've now reset your totals.

To leave setup mode, press the upper right button until you've returned to a regular readout.
