What's up with CSC and Zabriskie?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't see him on the teams list for the WC ITT. Basso isn't either. And both are not on the team list for the WC RR.
I have been out and about for the last few weeks so maybe I missed something.

yup, he was at the SF Grand Prix and abandoned along with Basso.

That kid has the weirdest injury streak ever.

You can get some info right from the horses mouth.

He also does really hilarious One Question Interviews in the peloton.

Dave Z abandoned after a quarter mile at SF - fully planned due to the wrist injury with the plate glass door; the team had to start with a min of 5 riders. Basso finished the race. Dave Z spent the afternoon in the CSC tent; a good friend of mine was with him in the tent. He said Dave Z is a little shy but has a great dry sense of humor...laughs a lot at himself and the injury record...no clue what really happened in the TTT at TdF...and no arrogance about who he is, yellow jersey, etc. A great guy is how my friend put it. Basso spent a bunch of time in the tent after the race...same thing, no arrogance, friendly and patient with all the celebrity seekers. My buddy said Bjarne is one BMF; he is definitely the man in charge; stout, the real deal. My friend is an even bigger fan of Team CSC now after that experience in SF.
