Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Used jerseys I might understand - give it a very thorough washing.

scroll way down on that page - they're selling used bibs? this includes "used" USPS team bibs... you too can own a sweaty smelly piece of history for $40!

I'd really only worry about the chamois being worn thin.

No way. What if they had a fungus, or crabs, or some other disease? I could not even think to wear used bottoms, even if they were only used once.

One of the few, very few, advantages to being a bigger individual in cycling is that the "temptation", such as it is, to buy used pro shorts/bibs must go forever frustrated.

The used shoe area caught my eye. Might be a way to try a brand I'm interested in w/o a big cash outlay and maybe just maybe some mojo from the previous owner might put another mph or two into me.

You never know....
