I wasn't aware they even made them! It seems like a cool idea but the covers I just found on the internet still expose the rear 2 "pontoons", which wear the fastest for me anyway. My guess is that they wouldn't help very much, but I have no actual experience using any sort of cleat covers.

I have a pair. The rears are exposed, but don't actually touch the ground.

I bought mine on ebay. Can't remember how much I spent, but it was probably about $5 USD.
