Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Embarrased

I get very embarrased when changing for cycling in front of other riders. Does anybody else have the same problem?

Go to a nudist beach a few times and practice being nude in front of others. After a few times you will notice that nobody is interested in you.....unless of course there is something exceptional about you. And even if they were interested.....so what?

Not really. Nudity (my own or others) really doesn't bother me. I guess that's kind of odd for most people but I don't see the big deal.

Go to the finish line after any big marathon (like NY) and you will see people with NO shame and not a reason to care.

After that, you won't feel so self conscious. Really.

Don't go changin'
to try to please me.

When you do something, do it deliberately. It will go better that way. (unless you have some of those really weird changing habits like putting your bibs on arms first....
