Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nashbar Carbon Stem

I noticed that Nashbar has a 31.8 full carbon stem on sale. Does any one have knowledge of this product? It looks generic, properly made by some other company. I tried a search any nothing came back.

You get what you pay for. Cheapo carbon stems are for looks only; they cost more, but offer no stiffness or weight benefits vs. aluminum. Some of these are fake carbon, with just a carbon finish on top of an aluminum core.
