Carbon soled shoes for narrow feet

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Carbon soled shoes for narrow feet

I have long narrow feet. I currently use SIDI Genius 4 in a size 45 narrow and still have to tighten the straps and buckle a lot to get a close fit. I would like to switch to stiffer carbon soled shoes. The SIDI carbons are not available in a narrow and the standrads are too wide. Anyone have a recommendation for narrow carbon shoes?

My feet are pretty narrow, too, somewhat more narrow than the standard D last used in men's shoes, but with a 46 length. I used to ride only European shoes, finding that the Time, Carnac, and the old, old, old Le Coq Sportif shoes fit well. Now, I'm riding Specialized Pro Carbons and find that the footbed (replaceable) and lining seems pretty snug--a good fit, all around, and STIFF soles, too. They'll run around $200 on the street. Check 'em out.

I just picked up a pair of Performance Cat 1 shoes - they seem to fit pretty well. My feet are somewhat narrow, but I've seen narrower ones. Plus they were on sale at $99, plus a 20% web coupon (now expired, but will probably be back).

I thought all bike shoes were narrow soled? If you are having trouble with a fit,and are willing to pay for custom, Rocket 7's are sweet. Extremely light,a nd extremely comfortable. But also extremely expensive ($500), and not terribly durable.
