His and her's new cervelos
Here they are, 05 Soloist Centaurs. Mine's the 54cm flat black, her's the 48 cm red one. Only had a chance for a couple short rides so far, mostly fine tuning fit and such. Love the campy stuff, the stiff responsive feel of the frame, and the ride of the wheels(which are pretty nice for low-mid range hoops and already noticably more refined than the alex wheels on my other ride). Not so hot on the seatpost adjustment or the stock saddle or bars (both of which have been switched). Stock brake calipers seem o.k. but not great. All said we're both quite psyched!

nah that price is for each. their both 05's, apparently the first batch were red/black and they switched to matte black halfway thru the year.

I am still trying to decide if I want one, or if I want a carbon bike for a little more money. I can not afford a carbon soloist though... thoughts?

so far, after a couple more rides, i'm digging it. the alpha q elios fork seems to do a good job of taking the edge off the the bumps, at least the front end, but the tight and very stiff rear triangle delievers more of a jolt. i'm not a huge believer in cf seatposts ability to absorb vibration, but in the case of the soloist, with it's large surface area aero seatpost (and the large amount of exposed post on the very compact frame) the carbon post may deliever. i'd love to give it a try anyway, if for nothing else to be free of the alu post's dumb adjustment setup. anyway, I'd much rather go with an alu frame from a proven and respected name than a generic cf frame, but that's just me.
