Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My first Triathlon...I placed...Whooo, with pics.

I didn't get near the overall ranks, but I placed in my age group which was 30-34. Not bad, huh. I have been training for a while now and just started serious cycling since July. As you can see my swim time was horrible; maybe because I have not swam properly since I was 12 years old, and I had a day before refresher at a friends pool. I had one hell of an experience and It was 49 deg when I jumped from the pool to the bike....brrrrrrrrrrr

Here is my results; the race was not too long. I am number 26 Glenn Richard overall results

here is the individual placing: age group placement winnings,,,oh yeah I'm 33

Good placing - congratulations! You smoked that bike course. That P2 is a beauty - are those 650 wheels?

Cool! That's an awesome achievement, especially given how little you've swam and biked.
