Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think Hipster needs to train harder. That way the next photo will be from the front. Better to have a photo of the horse's head than the horse's *ss. Good luck on the ride. It's going to be about 60% in OH this weekend. Can't decide whether to ride the bicycle or motorcycle. Looks like there aren't many more good days left.

Again, there will be no Knave this weekend at this ride. This is a location away from my regular route, out in the countryside near my weekend lake home. I like to drop that 'weekend lake home' phrase a lot because it makes it seems like I'm a high roller!

I hope more people show up, despite the late notice.
I'll have to do a full-metal, bigger bash next season when we're in the heat of summer and we'll grill and frolic in the lake after.

Hip,

You need to take your fitness craze nationwide! When will your tour be along Lake Ontario?

I don't mind bull riding, but it's getting to the point where you can't tell the differance anymore.

So? It's a big ugly bull with some crazy guy wearing chaps and a funny hat, getting the crap beat out of him. Fun to watch, but after about 10 mins, it gets boring. This, from a guy who loves his cowboy boots.

Have fun Hip. Hope lots of riders show up for the Tour with plenty of Bling to spare. (sans the Knave)

LaGrange, WI is a little far for me to travel to a ride, but I've been there. :-)
