Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What happens when you mix a Ridley

with a Scott (besides $15,000 worth of carbon gunk)?

You get a cool jacket and a handshake from the man himself. And his brother.

I keep hearing this. is it verifyable that the company name was inspired by the director? And if so does he have some other connection with cycling? If not I'm really bothered that a bicycle company would name itself after some random person, especially someone in entertainment. I doesn't make sence to me.

I'm guessing the company has nothing to do with the man.

Ridley and Scott are unrelated bike companies, no?

Is this like the time I pulled over at a winery in Napa called "Hannah" for the sole purpose of finding out if they made a Barbera.

They don't. But if they did, I bet it would taste really funny.
