RAIN ride
There has to be someone here who has participated in the Ride Across INdiana, particularly this past summer. I was there. Speak!

Got any pictures and/or tell us your story and how long it took. You rode across Indiana at 14? Very nice and congratulations!

I am afraid I must be honest. I did not ride the whole ride. But really, I was not trying to deceive you. Anyway, I live in Terre Haute, near where the ride started, and a friend of ours told us (me and my bothers) that the ride would pass through at about 6.30 AM. So, being too late to register, we went down to join on. We rode about 40 miles with the second fastest group (averaging close to 22 mph). It was a lot of fun, and going in a group 100 strong, it's pretty easy to fly along. I would very much like to do the whole ride next year, and think I will be up to it. But, now for the drama. This was, sadly, my first time riding in a large group. Going down the hills I did not know that everyone would slow down. So when they did, it came as something of a surprise. I stupidly jammed my back brake and skidded. Idiot. I almost ruined the ride for a good few people, had it not been for their amazing sense of when to give a kid some space. That would have been really bad. Okay, I have told you all. I think I have a picture or two I can post. I'll do waht I can.
