I lost 6lbs............................off the bike
First off let me state:
1. No I didn't need a lighter bike, just a case of upgradeitis
2. Straps are already off(pics taken on fri morn and pedals came in that night)
3. While I'm not ocp, I did remember to take the pics with the chain on the big ring
4. To respond to the 15lb bike coments, it weighs in at 16.2 with the comp/pedals and cages for a 58
weighed on a topeak bike stand/scale.
First ride was a 25mile group ride on sunday and I am still not sure if it was the mental motivation to pedal hard and justify the purchase or if it was the weight but I had a blast on it and went faster than usual. Handling is a little faster/twitchier than my allez elite was but not to bad. the "big boy" gearing will take a little time to build up to(triple w/12-26 to a 52/36 w/11-23)
