Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Holy New Cassette Batman!

I switched to a 25 8speed cassette for my commuter and I shaved 5 minute off my commute riding at night.

I thought a 25 was for climbing but it felt like I was able to get more power out of the gears and really go as opposed to my old cassette that allowed me to spin at a high cadence but didn't really provide nay resistance. Needless to say I like the new cassette

Could anyone let me know what differences they see in different cassette sizes?
