Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sweet looking bike. I especially like the use of red on the seat, bar tape and tires. You truly have something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving!

If we're posting Ridleys, how about Cadel Evans' Damocles with full Record:

Love those Ksyrium ES anniversary Wheels. They are the best looking wheels on the market right now; and they are light!

Oh, bike looks great too!

Very nice looking ride, if I was in the market for a new one, it would be on my list for sure.

Nice Bike. Fat seatpost.

They do look great, but for that budget you could go Tune Mag/DT r1.1/Revlution 28's for around 200g lighter.

Nice Bike. I never thought the new Ks would look good (but I take back what I said)

Are you using the C-16 Front derailleur with that compact? If so, how does it shift?

i had not thought of those wheels...i have to admit that some of what i did was more form than function....the fsa stuff look outstanding but weighs slightly more.

slave to fashion

thanks for the compliments

sweet bike buddy. my friend is a rep for ridley in my region and he's had nice bikes during this year.

he started with this at the beggining of the season

Ridley compact

then half season he saw me with my roubaix carbon and got the excalibur that you see here, but sold it at the end of the season.

for 2006 he already got his new frame which is a damocles in white with red-blue-silver colors and white cinelli ram, white san marco aspide seat. it is a pure bueauty. one of the best looking bike i've seen. I will post some pictures soon.

edit: this is my bike just for the heck of it.

hey thanks alot. yours is not bad either. I love my roubaix especially build the way I have it.

I got some more eye candy if you want.

This is my friend's old excalibur you see in the pics on the top , but updated with new parts on it. he sold it and is ready to change owner. what a lucky guy he is the new owner.

4za carbon wheels , cinelli ram and san marco aspide.

and here is the new bike he will be riding in 2006

hope you enjoy

ciao
