My bike made it to the DeRosa website!
Funny... I just sent pics to DeRosa, because I know he likes to see pictures of his bikes in different parts of the world. I figured it would be fun to show my bike in different parts of Chicago. So I send my DeRosa pics in, and they made it on the website for Halloween. I had no idea... but I had to laugh. He didn't tell me he was going to use them. But then again, they were halloween pictures, so hey... it's all good.

Nice. I knew you rode a De Rosa, but I didn't know you were on a first name basis with Ugo. Are you?

Whoops. I sure did forget to post the link. It was the Halloween post he put up there.
Ugo speaks so little English and I speak so little Italian. The second time I visited his factory, he spoke a little english, then got one of his sons to talk to me because he said his english was limited, so that was as far as we could take it. I had to laugh. The next time I visited, I knew more Italian, so we spoke in italian. He seemed delighted and relieved at the same time. A little italian goes a looooooooooong way.

Platforms are great if you like to use the bike for not just long rides, but also running around town alot.
Koffee, I love how the front and rear tires are differant, yet match the two-tone paint job. Right on!!!

I had other photos that didn't make it. But maybe they'll make it to see another day.

Great bike you've got there Koffee. Next time I'm riding in/around DC/VA I'll be sure to be on the lookout for you and your DeRosa. Not very common and easy to spot amid the sea of Treks and Giants.
