da@n computer :(
I wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out how to swith my computer from mph to km/h....After awhile I finally hit the reset button(which I was hoping not to do). It finally switched over but I lost all my miles. I know I was around 1200 on my Lemond but it sucks that its all gone now. I wish they would just transfer over and use a calculation instead of erasing completely...
On a side note, hit my top speed of 76.7km/h ...It was a mother of a downhill and I switch to 52/12 and hammered until no end...Tears were flying out of my eyes
PS: Now I ride and calculate in my head the speed that I am going to guage if I am going too slow or too fast. First divide by 3 then multiply by 2,(~.6666), and then I have to remind myself that its actually .62 and not .66 lol
Anyone else switch over to km/h?

What computer do you have. Most will have a mode to enter mileage for purposes like this.

You might get more answers if you mention what brand/model of computer you have somewhere in your post. Or keep your manual or something. I still have my Sigma manual.

It was mid ride..and now that I think about it, I doubt it was possible to change unless you reset the computer.
That or I'm stupid
I have been wrong before

Do you know how to go into programming mode? If so scroll until you see input and a small odo. Enter that mode, and you can put your old mileage back in.

I had the same problem when I first got my Cateye Microwireless... It seems the only way to switch is to reset the whole unit via the little recessed button on the bottom of the computer... Funny that the instructions do not mention that anywhere...

Not really road bike but, I don't know how many different computers I have been through on my MTB. Total miles...who knows?
All I know is I still like riding it.
Just write down the 1200 somewhere, and add it to whats on there now, you'll know what your total is now.
