Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Novara Team Trionfo

Does anyone here own or race a Novara Team Trionfo? Good for racing? How is the AN6 Aluminum frame with Columbus Muscle fork, seat stays and chainstays ride and handle? Sprinting? Climbing?

One problem with off-brand bikes is that they can vary a lot from year to year. You need to make sure that what someone is recommending is really the same thing you are buying.

You buying a current year model or older/used? Novara makes decent stuff, better than the K2 stuff I sell beside it. Older Trionfos had some creaking and bonding issues, though the last two years haven't had any complaints. Better if you buy it through REI and get their ridiculously good warranty on it.
