Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Minoura Rollers

Anyone own them? Opinions? I figure I cant afford a nice enough trainer, so I might as well get some decent rollers.

I've had the mag rollers for like 10 years. they work fine... My cycleops fluid2 trainer is a better workout however... but the roller rock for the fixedgear training in the winter..

I have a set. Had them for a year or so, really like them. Two riders in the family and they get used alot. The mag unit gives a really good workout. Smoothe and quiet.

I have a pair and they seem to last well and are quiet. They are easy to level. I usually leave the mag unit disconnected and don't have much experience with that. The only thing that bugs me is that they look alot like the performance brand rollers that were 40$ cheaper. no problems in 18mo. I also have one of their really old trainers and it has been bulletproof.
