Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey!!!!!!!!!! just snaged a CAAD8 off Flea Bay for $102.00 with Carbon fork. Looks like I got me a new Cannondale Project Bike! Owner airbrushed this one up. I think that's why it only got 15 bids.

I paint professionally...... No problems there.
Ordered a new OME CAAD8 decal set right after I won it.

I know the feeling. All my pics are bad pics because I can't wait until the conditions are right to post them.
That is one sexy beast. Basically, that will be my goal at the end of the year.

I thought the chainstays were dented to create clearance from the crank arms. Lots of other short-wheelbase bikes, almost always aluminum (since it's made with fatter tubes than comparative steel frames), have dented chainstays.

My new six13 - Just ordered a new Serfas Phantom seat and some red Chainring bolts. Still trying to decide what to do on the bottle cages. It is a work in progress. Just got it built this past Saturday after a bad wreck killed my last frame. Besides the pain to my hip and road rash it worked out okay. Traded from a Scattante to this!

Hi,

What a coincidence, I just posted in the Road Bike Racing sub forum and I find this thread at the top of the Road Cycling page. First Cannondale that I've owned since a mid-1980s mountain bike:

2010 SuperSix with Record-10 group.

Sweet ride. I love the setup. Did you end up using the lowest stack headset cone, or is that the larger one?
