Stock 2008 System-Six; last year of production and the last year Cannondale made Cannondales with carbon in the US if I'm not mistaken. Notice how I rock 1st gen. Rival. The bike would look so sick with Red and some 303's.
?Here are the things I have planned for my bicycle's future...
1. Thomson Masterpiece seatpost.
2. Thomson X2 Stem.
3. More comfortable Arione (if there is one).
4. Upgrade to Red Slowly...
I'll use the wheels until they utterly and completely fail beneath me. Anyway...Sorry only links so far.

P.S. Notice something strange in the second photo?

Lol...the upside down badge?
The last year of US carbon is with the 09 Super Six.
If your moving to Red part by part...do the shifters first. They will probably give you the biggest difference in feel. You look like your running the 1st gen Rival. The throws will be much shorter...especially the front.
Heres mine with Red. Not 303's but EC90 tubulars. Last part I need to finish it completely is the Hollowgram crank.

I also have compared shifting throw between Red/Rival; Rival can be a pain sometimes. Especially when dropping several cogs in one motion. I'm also have trim issues and Red would help with that as well.

I had the 1st gen Force and like the Rival, has an extremely long throw on the front big ring shift. For all Sram shifters in 09, the trim on the front derailleur got moved to the big ring. I don't actually like that. You need to click the shifter twice to move it into the small ring. So far, I have not had the need to use the trim function.

bikes look freakin awesome.
Quick question, is it worth the 200 extra bucks to go from a caad8 to a caad10 if I'm on a budget? Seems to me that they are pretty darn similar and it aint worth the mula but I'm a newbie.

go for the caad10, it is 2 pounds lighter and faster, i was in that same situation at the bike shop when i was buying my first road bike, and i never regretted it.

Sorry. Only 'Dale I got.
An early 90s C'dale 3.0 M800 "Beast of The East" frame, but it's gone through a couple component upgrades to the still-used-and-abused version you see here. To keep it roadable, I actually have slicks on it at the moment for just tooling around.
Okay, we now return you to your regularly scheduled program...

What a shame, the "handmade in USA" is gone on the new bikes
