Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My dad was a Mod but that was mostly because he couldn't afford a real bike at the time so he couldn't be a Rocker.

Nope...drove the Vespa off the side of a cliff, then hid out at a friend's for a few weeks.

Everyone thought I was dead.

PUBLIC APOLOGY TO BIKER7

While I can't say that you were within the forum guidelines to post what you did in a certain other thread, I am extremely sorry that another party took any satisfaction in your holiday from Bikeforums. In hindsight, I would probably not take that action again. Not because I think you were right, but because it meant that another member whose actions were no more appropriate than yours thought he got away with something.

Here's to your return.

Cheers,

Expatriate.

Ouch! Double points for Santa. You'll recall that we had pizza on Thanksgiving because my wife couldn't locate a turkey. At the grocery store. The kind that previously had feathers.
