Ugliest Bike of 2005?
What do you guys think? My pick is the black Cannondale Synapse. The white/blue one looks a lot better, but this black one has to go.

Come to think of it, any colnago. Those things are pretty offensively garish.

The Synapse is ugly? Blasphemy!
I vote for any and all Celeste Bianchis. The Liquigas bike is especially ugly: https://www.bianchiusa.com/06_fc_record.html

ugliest bike of 2005? this BMC time trial bike for phonak...
compared to a cervelo P3C or Trek TTX, it's really weird looking. maybe it's just the paint job, I think it might look good without any logos or paint on it, just plain black.

I like the Synapse, no, let me revise that, I WILL like the Synapse in a couple of years when they figure out how to apply the right amount of artistic detail to it and then properly market the bike.

I like the flat black, it's a nice option for the rest of us who want to ride a bike and not an ad campaign. It reminds me of the battleship gray Bianchi Pistas of a few years back. It's not as if there are a shortage of garish and artsy bikes out there I'd personally prefer a few more straight forward bikes.

Like mine????
It's not a 2005 of course. I do agree that the Liquigas bikes were hideous though.

Colnagos are OK, just skip the Euroflash paint jobs.

I think as far as high end bikes go, Colnagos are pretty garish in their paint jobs. All the silver and yellow and red and blue....just does not appeal to me.

Won't go to the LBS: "Cheapest road bike is seven hunnered dollars?! That was as much as my pick-up truck!" Oh well, at least they're riding a bike.
