Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You SUCK. I'm originally from LA and have been exiled to Maryland... not an In and Out for over 2000 miles. I was just telling my girlfriend today that I wanted a burger from there... she said we had vouchers for Southwest and the airport is only 5 miles.

Don't knock MD to hard. Sure the weather here right now kinda sucks for riding. And we don't have In and Out's. Ok well maybe it does kinda suck at the moment.

Fixer, what route did you take to get from the LA basin to Pasadena? Looking for the safest, pot-hole free, way to get there.

I hate colorado in glendale. It's got to be one of the worst streets in LA. I've ridden that a couple times, and it usually adds 15 minutes more to the ride up to Pasadena. You end up waiting for the traffic lights more than riding in that stretch. Have you tried Fletcher -> Eagle Rock -> Yosemite -> Colorado?
