Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shocking tragedy in Wales-4 roadies killed..

Please say a prayer for these people and their families.

Last year we lost Zak Carr in a road accident, and now this....

https://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/4592412.stm

No one to blame here, just a tragic accident....

Feeling pretty sad at the moment, just reflecting that this could have been any one of us or our kids.....

It's terrible. What's worse is that some kids' parents aren't coming home.

Sorry to hear about the accident and my condolences to all involved and affected. Makes me think that it can happen to any of us and no amount of "defencive riding technics" can prevent accidents like this one...

Repost.

Tragic though. My heart goes out to the friends and families of those who lost their lives.
