West Palm Beach - Where to ride?
I'm going to West Palm Beach next month and am hoping to do a few days of riding. Not sure yet whether I'll rent a bike or ship mine. I'm looking for routes that will start near the Palm Beach Mall and run for about 30 to 40 miles. I know the area pretty well but any suggestions would help.

I work for a company that is based down there so I go frequently. This bike is living down there at the moment. I usually stay on Singer Island and my normal ride is up A1A on the island to highway 1, North to the A1A cutoff at Juno Beach, then up along the shore to Jupiter Beach. I do this daily at 4:45 AM before going to work. The traffic is low and it's as cool as it gets there.
Last year I did a roll-your-own metric century by riding around Lake Worth:
Cross Singer Island Bridge from Palm Beach Shores - South on highway 1 to 36th St. - East to Flagler Blvd. - South to Flagler Bridge - Cross to Palm Beach - North to the tip of Palm Beach - South along the shore to Boynton Beach - West to Highway 1 - North to Lake Worth - East to Flagler Blvd. - North to 36th St. - West to Highway 1 - North to PGA Blvd in North Palm Beach - West and south on A1A to the start.
That was a nice ride that you can start anywhere in the circuit. Best time to start is probably early in the morning on a Sunday to keep the traffic low and minimize the gunfire in Riviera Beach.
