Computers
Yes I have been looking around at some different computers. Is there really a difference between many of them? Its seems like they are generally the same to me. What is generally a good computer for the buck? Also does anyone have an opinion on the cadence feature? I just didn't know if it is something I would like to have or if it is something that no one really pays attention to.

can't beat Cateye for value. I've been using the same Cateye Tomo for so many years that I can't remember.
I don't like the cadence thingy if it means having a messy wire going all the way down to the stay, and a sensor on the crank.

I ride with a lot of riders who don't have a computer on their bicycle. I'm a gadget freak.. so I "NEED" to have one...
Whatever, computer I'm using... I always have the Cadence visible. For me, I like it especially, when climbing...
Decide what features you want and then spend the money and purchase it... There are so many choices that it really is "IMPOSSIBLE" to say which one is best.
I think the best computer for the $ is the Astrale 8... Speed, Cadence and since it is wired never has any issue... Plus it is really cheap...

You want cheap? Target has the Schwinn on sale for $9. Works as a pedometer too.
