LOL why Rad? No matter what color it is, you'll send it off to have it painted and never see it again.

Depends. What condition is it in? How many miles has it been ridden? Was it used in competition? Ever involved in any crashes? If so, how severe? What is the condition of the cosmetics/aesthetics of the bike? Any component upgrades?
With the information you've provided so far, all we can say right now is "less than what you paid for it new".

LOL! No Exit, that is brutal! Everyone knows a custom-painted Trek is more cool! I for one applaud Rad's fine taste in colors!

For a 10 year old bike I wouldn't pay more than 20% of the cost of a new one. Maybe $400 US if I was in a good mood and loved the bike.

it's 10 years old, you won't get anything much for it
use it for a trainer bike indoors, or convert to fixed, or make it an errand bike or a commuter--do something creative with it
good luck

I wouldn't pay more than $400 for it but Trek's always go for more than I think they are worth. You can probably get $6 or 700 on Ebay, if you have a good feedback number. If not, consider using a service or Craigslist.

How many miles does it have on it?
Just as an aside, last week I sold my 1994 Cannondale R600 for $400 cash (I originally paid $750 for it new in 1995). The frame was in excellent condition and most of the components were upgraded to Ultegra 6500 back in 2001. The bike itself had less than 1500 miles on it.
Listed it on Craigslist at midnight, and the bike was gone and I had $400 cash in my hand by 11AM the next day.
