An alternative to the Etape - Ride the Pyrenean Bear
The best cyclosportive in the Pyrenees is L'Ours (The Bear). The route is every bit as hard as an Etape du Tour with 3 Cat 1 climbs followed by the steep HC climb to Pla d'Adet where Hincapie won in 2005.
You can have good accomodation, cheap entry and easy transfers making it a breath of fresh air.
