Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Does anyone know if there are any rebates/discounts out there for performancebike.com?

Right now they're having a clearance sale. A lot of things have already been marked down 30-50%.

The only extra discounts I know of are when you are a Team Performance member.

Supergo appears to have recently finished its merger with Performance, so if you go to https://www.supergo.com/ you can get 10% off your order with Performance. The offer is only good until February 6, 2006, so don't wait too long...

Thank you very much! I was getting ready to place a $100 order form them and thought I would ask just in case. That just saved me $13, shipping!

I currently own 3 pair of Performance shorts. Decent enough for the money (about $20 on sale). But Voler's are about $24 and are much, much better. IMO.

See www.velowear.com for Voler closeouts.

Just bought some of their Ultra Bibs - they fit me better, are made much better and of higher quality material than the PI, Castelli, Sugoi, & others I looked at & tried on. About $55 on sale in my local (reg $80). IMO, very comfortable.

I've had a number of their Century gel shorts in the past - can't hold a candle to the Ultras.

YMMV
