Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Talk about interesting bike gear. Some kind of springy leash adapter.

This woman is trying to get her giant poodle "on the razor" for the Westminster Dog Show.

If I had a dog, and that gizmo, I would have worn it to a bloody hunk of meat by now.

If you had a dog, it would probably get fed up with you after about 5 minutes and you'd be the bloody hunk of meat.

Hey, let's take up a collection and send EURO a dog!

I used to have a 125 lb Malamute. He loved to run. A neighbor suggested hooking him up to the bike and letting him pull me around.

Only problem with that is that he hates cats. He once dragged all 220 lbs of me down the road by his leash (and choke collar) trying to get to a cat. It's the worst road rash I've ever had.

I couldn't imagine what would happen if I had been on a bike when that happened. He was an extremely strong dog.

Some guy came into the shop I was working at at the time with one of those things, and when I put the bike on the repair stand I touched his seat and it was wet. GROSS, yeah so those things are ridiculous.

That's because you're a top 1000 rider in your country, right?

I dunno...one of these canines will drop you if you can't average at least 37 mph on the flats...
