Question for Trek Pilot owners
Guys with Pilots, wondering how much tire clearance you have with the long-reach brakes, also what is th BB drop and how stable is the handling. Also, how do you like them?
Thanks

28's with full fenders. 32's without.
Mucho clearance under the BB.
Nice blend of stability with decent response.
Nice ride.

My frame (63c) has very relaxed angles--much more than most any other bike--not steep at all. It came with 25s but I put a 28 on the back and there's still about 1/2-inch clearance. The ground clearance is 10.9 inches so maybe you can figure the drop from that. The wheelbase of 1021 is about or what you'd find on a performance bike. Don't know if you're looking for a CF Pilot but that is what I wanted and it did not disappoint.
