Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Does anyone know how much the 2006 Trek 2100 (or 2200) weighs?

Thanks!

The 2006 Trek 2100 weighs 19 3/4 pounds, the 2200 weighs 19 even. I bought a 2200 is how I know and I had the shop weigh them.

1996 Trek 2100

Hey there SleepyStarz,

Do you still have that 1996 Trek 2100? I found one at a LBS and I plan on buying it this weekend if it rides like I think that it will. I didn't think that my first road bike would be 11 years old but at half the price of other bikes at the shop I cannot think of a better way to start. Shimano 105 all the way around.

How long have you had yours? Still love it?
