Do you cross or not?
Do your gear cables cross on their way down under the down tube? I suspect that this is more common on bikes with Shimano shifters, given the way the cable comes out at right angles to the Shimano shifters. You can of course route them anyway you want, but generally having less of a bend in the casements is probably best.

My Lemond Tourmalet came that way, so I asked the LBS and they said that it was the right routing. My new Cannondale keeps them apart. Both are Shimano (Tiagra -> Ultegra)

I have run my Campy cables both ways it really depends on the bike set up (where the stops are ) and cables used.
I voted campy not crossed as my current setup is with Nokon cables
