Ride Report: Purdue Cycling group ride
Hello all,
I was able to get out of work today and was able to make one of the group rides. It was pretty awsome, not used to being able to go so much faster in a group. The hills on the ride today really killed me, but i suppose the more i go up them the easier they will become. Other than that the ride was pretty fun. Being a rookie at road biking, one of the stronger riders would always help to push me back up to the group after a hill climb, which i was very greatful for. He also helped to stress the importance of keeping my hands over the brake levers when in a group, and to always try to stick to the wheel infront of you. During the 23 mile ride today, my bike's odometer rolled over 100 miles.

Cool. The more you get out there with the group, the faster you'll get, and the better you'll climb. You can also pick up helpful hints along the way from the more experienced riders. Just ask.....unless they're dickheads, they should be happy to answer any questions you have.

Congrats on getting the first 100 miles on your bike!
