Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I took my shirt off while I was playing frisbee golf the other day and my friend goes, "Hey look, he looks like he still has his shirt on!"

But seriously, it never went away. One of the side effects of year round cycling in florida.

Mine is showing up again. I'm going to have to start doing something outside to get some sun on my hands, I'm not worried so much about the rest, but having glove tan line is something I'd like to avoid for the next few months.

Someone told me I had a tan. I'm not noticing it yet but once it comes I hate swimming and wearing tank tops.

Being of Irish, German, and Scottish heritage, tanning is simply not an option. It's rumored that I was the inspiration for Procol Harum's song "A Whiter Shade of Pale".

Well, yesterday it was -29c before the windchill. The snowbanks on the sides of the road are alteast 10-15ft high in some places. Ridding outside is a little tough. Maby I should go into a tanning booth with my cycling stuff on.

I'm always "tanned".

I'm Native American, I don't have to worry about my tan.

Went on a 62 mile ride two weekends ago ... the sun was out pretty strong here in Fl. So I have my "tan" back via my 1st burn of the year.
