Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes, they are legit. They are based in Europe, and I ordered a pair of Sidi Genius 5, and Ultegra pedals for $214. which is less then JUST the shoes would cost from a store in the states. It took 27 days until I recieved my order, but according to other people that was really rare. Most people get their orders within 7 days.

The only problem is, if your order is over 200 bucks, then U.S customs has a right to tax it. Which then you are required to pay upon delivery. I believe my order was stuck in customs, and that is why it took so long, but I was NOT charged.

FWIW, their customer service was really nice, and was willing to replace the goods if they did not show up within another couple of days.

Edit: right now I believe they are having FREE shipping to the U.S, which is normally around 15 bucks. I think I may have to order some new tires with a deal that good!

They are a good company to do business with. Some categories are better than others I've ordered look pedals twice from them. the first set arrived from Great Britan to maryland in 4 days the second shipment took 7 days. the prices were at or below cost for the US. My only concern is if I ever have to return something.fortunately I haven't had to address that issue yet.

Was considering ordering a Campy Veloce grouppo for my second bike. How would the customs things work. What tax would I pay? What percentage?

IF the do the paperwork right, you shouldn't have to pay any customs fees as those particualr bike parts don't have import duties. Shoes do have like a 5% duty though. You can find the list on teh US customs site.

So whats the general consensus with the shipping? Around 5-8 days? I have a box of small parts coming and I was thinking it would take the better part of a month, so if they came this week I would be excited (I ordered last saturday or sunday)

I ordered on moday evening in CA and recieved my tires (a steal) and look cleats on saturday. Pretty fast and cheap. There is a $4.00 currency conversion fee that shows up on my credit card though, other credit card companies may differ. Another great site along these lines is totalcycling based in Ireland.

Anyone here know why parts from Singapore are so damn cheap? I'm always a little skeptical but the one time I've order something off eBay from HK, it turned out ok.

Ususally around a week, but like I posted earlier; my shoes, and pedals took 27 days. This I believe is not typical, but got caught up in customs (my order was over 200 bucks) but I did not owe anything.

Totally legit. I've not placed any huge orders, though, so I can't say anything about customs charges. Shipping to NYC is quite fast.

I checked out their helmet selection and I have to say those are some of the most wieredest helmets I've seen in a while.
The icon for the team jerseys has Intel Jersey, but they are not selling it thought.

They are good, I've used them lots. Only issue I had once was when they held the order up for a part they were waiting on - without letting me know.
