If you're just looking for typical lists of the components people use to write up their build sheet, have a look here:
https://www.light-bikes.com/BikeGalle...ct.asp?catid=3
I go there sometimes when I want to write out the list of my bike build. I just write from top to bottom all the components they included and fill in my own parts.

yes, a general component list so that I don't forget the little things when I'm ready to build this puppy. I don't want to forget cables/rim tape etc. I swore I've seen a list posted in the forum but can't seem to find one.

even if you forget something, you will find out sooner than later... when your bike breaks in half or implodes

Rad - I was going Sora shifters but then I found a good deal on '06 10 speed dura ace. I hope I notice a performance difference. Thx for the offer, I may take you up on it.
Anyone know where I can get black non-zero gravity brakes? Mavic's are campy specific and the black cane creeks couldn't stop a housefly.

You sure about the Dura Ace? If you change your mind, I might be willing to trade you for a used pair of Sora's. Okay...and maybe some beer.
Black 105 brakes are easy to find (and a great value). But it sounds like you are going a notch or two 'higher-end' with this project. Sounds fun; keep us posted.

Aren't Sora's 9s, and DA 10s? You may find a good deal on DA shifters, but you'll need appropriate ders, and cassette to go with (new 105 10s at a minimum). That alone is a big jump in price range over 9s Sora componentry.

Sorry, I meant 8s, my fault. My point was that he would need to do alot more upgrading if he wanted the DA shifters.
Yes, the 105 brakes are good for the money.

I thought the Mavic brakes had a quick release flip on them, and could be used with Shimano or Campy, but I was wrong. The new black FSA brakeset is relabeled Tektro.

Black 105 brakes for $63 (if you use a 10% coupon code):

Only 39 grams heavier than the Mavics, and probably worth considering. Those other 10-speed parts (FD, RD, etc.) aren't going to be cheap.

thx guys, I may go 105 in black, they actually look more OCPish with my black felt than the dura ace or ultegra. If I don't like em, I can just go higher end as brakes are fairly cheap anyway.
