Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Recomendations for fender flaps?

I need some flaps for my fenders... I feel bad for those behind me, what do you all suggest using?

Make your own. I got two sets out of a $1 plastic placement from Ikea.

Hit the Goodwill & pickup a wide leather belt, cut to size, drill a hole or 2 & pop rivet or bolt onto your fender.

Cut out flaps from bleach bottles. Pop rivets or bolts with safety nuts.

I just picked up a flap made out of black rubber with a bit of chrome trim (meant for a chopper, I'm guessing, but perfect for a road, touring or other bike). Got it on eBay for about $13, shipping included. Go to eBay, get into the "Cycling" section, and search for "flap" or "mud flap." I'm pretty sure the guy was selling more of them. The best part is they are $9.99 "buy it now" so you don't have to go through the bidding process.

?? Flaps are on the front and back of mine.

These fenders are awesome! I have been riding to work in my business casuals with nary a perceivable splotch on my clothes.
