UPDATE
After the great crash of 2007... (note: I just call it that.. wasn't really that bad of crash, some road rash, and fork damage, from me sliding into the rear of a parked car... LOL)
...I needed a new fork, so I picked up a Forte Axis for really cheap (aluminum steerer one). While I was at it I decided to break down the entire bike for cleaning, for a closer examination of all the parts, just to make sure everything was in order, and to make sure that the fork was the only thing damaged.
I also decided to refinish the frame with some urethane to match the finish of the new fork. Moreover, I was also getting kinda bored with the matte carbon look, and wanted to see glossy/shiny carbon instead.
Installed new shifting cables, Wipperman 10S1 to replace the Ultegra chain, and decided to remove crank decals, (why?...why not... more stealthy? https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/317974-ultegra-6600-crank-rd-decal-removal.html)
New fork is both lighter and noticeably more rigid than the original 43mm rake fork. Rake of the new fork is 40mm, and as expected the bike I notice is slightly less twitchy.
So now my ol’commuter is up and running again.. yay!!!
Fork damage from crash...
Just for kicks, I decided to cut through the fork crown with a mitre saw as I had to destroy the fork anyways to get the fork race off of it.
Tada…

Looks fantastic! The funniest thing is that the OCP crowd, now being ignorant as to which brand it is, will probably rave about your spectacular bike, test ride if (if you let them), rave about the fantastic handling and road feel, etc.
I love it.
I love it.

Very nice. I have the same bike from SuperGo and was wondering what it took to get the huge white SCATTANTE lettering off of the otherwise nude frame...

This is probably just my immaturity showing, but whenever I see an all black carbon bike w/o decals I think "oh, a ninja bike!".
You have an awesome ninjabike.

I suppose not really, but to my eye, they are, and I would rather have that area painted. Not trying to be an ass, just an observation. I'm sure my Trek would not look so pretty nude.
I suppose these guys put together a different way then.... Sure they cost more, and it does not mean a better ride... but it sure is pretty to look at when nude.

Looking back at this pic.. I was wondering if the BB's of Cervelo Frames still look like the pic above.
i.e., with all the filler stuff at the joints.
Please post your nude carbon fibre BB's pics here.

But Shimano 6600 is just SO STIFF, even stiffer than 7800.. what is not to love?
Bars are chopped, I never put my hands in that horizontal position, when I am in the drops, I like to have my hands at the bends. No tape in the bends... simply because I like the look of no tape there. All my bikes are like this, so the tradition continues.
