Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

LOOK (new pedals with pics)

I finally got tired of struggling with my stock Shimano SPDs and took advantange of the decent deal Nashbar has right now on LOOk A51s. I love them after 1 ride. They are much easier to clip into, and they do feel more stable.

They have adjustable float (0, 3, 6 or 9 degrees). I always wanted to try a little less float than my SPDs, and I like it so far. When I start to get tired my heels move around and I end up smacking my the crank. My only gripe with them so far is the way they are balanced. They fall past vertical when you un-clip and when you look down you can see the bottom of the pedal. It doesn't seem to be a real problem, but it "bothers" me.

Well, without further ado, a little soft porn (it is only an OCR after all ).
