Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How to fix rear brake stick?

so my rear brake sticks. the brake lever can "jiggle freely". once i manually open up the brakes, the brake lever is firm again. even when the brakes stick, it does not rub on rim. any suggestions?

Take off the caliper and thoroughly clean and lubricate it and the cable.

And don't overtighten it when you re-install. Also check for cable housing kinks.

Whatever you do don't use WD40 because every time you use that word a flame war ensues. Oops, too late.
